The Asian Alliance for Solidarity Economy(AA4SE) is the continental network of solidarity economy in Asia.

History

The main base organisation for AA4SE is CSRSME (Coalition of Socially Responsible SMEs) Asia, a network of small businesses aware of their CSR which started to promote the idea of solidarity economy since September 2004, organising the 1st Asian Forum for Solidarity Economy in October 2007 in Metro Manila, the Philippines.

CSRSME evolved into AA4SE during the 1st Regional Workshop on Social Finance for SMEs with CSR Agenda at Bangkok, Thailand in October 2008, and in March 2009 held the 2nd Regional Workshop on Social Finance for SMEs with CSR Agenda at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
